Is system trading risky?
All trading involves risk. Risk is also relative to one's specific outlook based upon what risk means to them. In general, I think system trading is much less risky than any buy and hold methodology. The Trading Systems Course has a whole chapter on risk management and it is one of the most largely covered topics in the course.

Lastly, the emotional component of risk is covered in-depth.
